STRICT REGULATIONS – WE MEET THEM ALL
In Sweden, there are clearly defined and stringent safety regulations for goal pegs used in organized games – both at youth and senior levels. These rules are designed to ensure an optimal balance between player safety and game stability.
For players U15 and younger, pegs must have a maximum hardness of U80 and be color-coded yellow. These are designed to release under sufficient force to reduce injury risk.
For players U16 and older (including senior level), pegs must have a hardness rating of SR90 and be color-coded blue, providing a more secure anchoring suited for high-level play.
All game-approved pegs must also be clearly marked with the manufacturer's name and production date, allowing referees and organizers to ensure proper equipment is used.
